17:00h Arrive at our destination
17:30h Begin the visit with a panoramic view of the city

Visiting the world-famous Mezquita, the Moorish mosque.
This is the third-biggest in the world with an extension of 23.000 square meters, the most beautiful and original building of all Spain.
This mosque combined Roman, Gothic, Byzantine, Syrian and Persian elements.
We will continue the visit around the Mosque, seeing buildings such as the Archiepiscopal Palace. Inside this Palace, there are rests of the palace dating from the Goths.
The Alcazar de los Reyes Cristianos, was the Palace of the Christian Kings, built in 1328 by Alfonso XI. You will also visit the Jewish quarter, going back to the time of the Romans and Goths.
Here you can find also one of the few synagogues existing today in Spain, this one built in 1315.
To conclude our trip we will visit The Ruins of Medina-Azahara, (8 km outside Cordoba). In 936 Caliph Abdul Rahman decided he needed a new residential town, and would built Medina Azahara, at that time the largest town in all the region.
On top of a hill there was the palace, Alcazar Califal, below the administrative district with parks and gardens, while the actual town was located in the flat land.
But this colossal work existed for only 74 years - then it was conquered and destroyed by the Bereberes. Medina-Azahara was all but forgotten, until archaeologists started to excavate it in 1910.

Visit Jerez De La Frontera

Each of the many different cultures that have settled here over the past few centuries have had an enormous influence upon the physical appearance of Jerez and numerous archaeological remains which bear witness to the fact can still be seen, both in the surrounding countryside and within the city itself. Archaeological remains from the Phoenician Xera, the strongly Roman Ceret, and the important Muslim Sherish, merge with the beauty of the later Christian buildings to offer a wide range of architectural styles and distinctive edifices which all combine to give Jerez a truly individual urban physiognomy of great beauty.
Travellers, visitors and tourists will find Jerez a very attractive place to visit and one which is quite easy to get to know, thanks to its size, though it is the fifth largest Andalusian city in terms of number of inhabitants, a place where you can go for a quiet stroll through the many pedestrian areas within the old part of the historic city centre. Sight-seing tours provide an excellent way to see the whole city.
